My name is Cordelia, and I founded ABUK (Autism, Beaudon, Understanding Kindness) in 2021 after my son Beaudon was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
At the time, I felt overwhelmed and unsure of what the future would look like. Wanting to connect with others in a similar position, I reached out locally and started a small group for children and their families.
What began as a simple idea quickly grew into a supportive community and a space where families could share experiences, find reassurance and feel understood.
As demand grew, so did our vision. ABUK became a registered charity and has since developed into a dedicated, SEN-friendly environment designed to support autistic children and those around them.
Today, ABUK is a place where children are accepted for who they are, and families know they are not alone.
And this is just the beginning.
